"Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving."

COLOSSIANS 2:6-7

Catechesis is the Church's God-assigned task of grounding believers in Christ and in the foundations of the Christian faith. It is making disciples by teaching them all that Christ taught the apostles, and calling them to live in the light of that teaching.

The Anglican Church in North America has developed a Catechism, called To Be A Christian, which describes in depth the important principles of the Christian Faith, namely the Gospel, the Creed, the Lord’s Prayer and the Ten Commandments, using a series of questions and answers, which are meant to be memorized by the young Christian. It is available for free as a PDF or can be purchased as a physical copy at your favourite bookstore or online store.
