Ambassadorship Bible Study

Ambassadorship Bible Study

SUNDAYS AFTER THE SERVICE | In the Sanctuary

New Bible Study: an hour of teaching, discussion and prayer, led by Deacon Alan Arnold.

“All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us.” – 2 Corinthians 5:18–20

Who me, an ambassador? Come and discover the details of ambassadorship as an important part of our journey with Christ.

Men's UNbreakfast

Men's UNbreakfast

SATURDAY, APRIL 13th AT 9:00 AM

At our last Men’s Breakfast Pastor Joshua introduced us to Fasting by leading us through various scriptures. Some in our group were moved by the idea of FASTING and proposed we FAST at our next meeting, we voted and a small majority voted for a FAST. However, we will accommodate everyone and forgo the scrambled egg, bacon and sausage and instead offer bagels, cream cheese, fruit, juice, coffee and tea for those who do not or can’t fast, but for those who want to fast please do so.

For the past 3 months we have introduce aspects of Spiritual Discipline; regular Bible reading, prayer and fasting. This Saturday we will spend time sharing our thoughts, struggles, benefits of practicing these basic disciplines. Something to think about, Proverbs 27:17 says, “As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend” NKJV;  “Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another” ESV… are we sharpening one another?

Setup and preparation at 8:00 AM, with snacks served at 9:00 AM, and a short talk after. Cleaned up and out by 10:30 AM. Ask your friends, neighbours, brothers and sons to join us for fellowship!

Don't Give Up Now — An UpsideDown Production

Don't Give Up Now — An UpsideDown Production

THIS SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 9th at 7 PM

Join us for a play on Malla Moe, an intrepid young girl from Norway who took the gospel to Swaziland. One of the first missionaries in Southern Africa, she was faced with adversity of all kinds; teammates dying, rejection by the locals, but she chose to brave the perils, preaching even through the midst of the Anglo-Boer War of 1899. UpsideDown brings Malla’s life to the stage, showcasing her fiery, obstinate dedication to missionary work.
