Changes during the COVID-19 Pandemic
During the COVID-19 Pandemic, we’ve decided to remain connected as a church, and have members pre-record the different sections of our liturgy, which we then present as a completed online church service at our usual time of 2:00 PM. This is then followed by a Phone-In Prayer Chapel at 3:00 PM, and finally a ZOOM video chat at 3:30 PM for Fellowship and Open Prayer.
We have taken a balanced approach to worship on Sundays, using traditional prayers in today's language and singing in both hymns and contemporary music. There is an esteemed place for Scripture reading and preaching, and we often take communion together, with both elements of bread and wine (or grape juice).
We also enjoy a time for open prayer for needs in our community. If you have more personal prayer requests, there's always a couple of people who will be ready to pray with you in the Prayer Chapel at the end of the service.
Afterwards, we get to catch up with each other in the adjoining room where coffee, tea and other refreshments and snacks are being served. Ask around if you'd like to join a weekly Bible Study, Prayer Group or Home Group.
