Our annual synod gathering was held in Ottawa this year, hosted by St. Peter & St. Paul’s. It was our 12th Synod as the Anglican Network in Canada. Our theme this year is “Him We Proclaim” taken from Colossians 1:28-29:

“Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ. For this I toil, struggling with all his energy that he powerfully works within me.”

Our aim was to theme all aspects of our gathering around the proclaiming of Christ and the bringing of our people to maturity in him. Recordings from the main sessions and workshops are now available on the ANiC website.

West Island Network - Prayer Breakfast

West Island Network - Prayer Breakfast

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 2 @ 9 AM | Westside Gathering, corner of Tecumseh & Brunswick

Join us for our 4th Annual Prayer Breakfast. This year’s speaker is Aaron White, National Director for 24/7 Prayer Canada. He will be stopping in Montreal to be with us on his way home from an international 24/7 Prayer gathering in Northern Ireland AND spending time in Lebanon with refugees.

His heart for prayer, mission and social justice is evident to anyone who meets him or visits him in the downtown east side of Vancouver. He is full of wisdom and real life experience that will no doubt inspire us here in the WI. We will also have time to pray together, as many different congregations, for the West Island.

Our Annual Prayer Breakfast has also always been a great opportunity to meet with others from different churches across the West Island and eat a delicious breakfast together. This is a FREE event. If you'd like to make a donation to the WIN you may do so at the breakfast.

Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us.” – 2 Corinthians 5:18–20

Who me, an ambassador? Come and discover the details of ambassadorship as an important part of our journey with Christ.
